For me, not a good read. Seemed the author was "thinking out loud" because I came away from what I did read with little information or enlightenment.
An excellent and very truthful account of the instability in Guatemala at that time. I personally experienced driving through Avenida Reforma in a cross-fire between government militia and rebels. I and my family thank God for the close friendship we've been privileged to enjoy with Bishop Frey and his family then and to this date. David Knight
Bishop Frey and his family are friends. He is an excellent writer and preacher. The family went through a lot of struggles during this time but throughout his life he continues he and his wife continue to preach and teach the truth of the Gospel.
